Soprano and actor Coral Kestler made her Houston debut with Main Street Theater as Nancy in Fancy Nancy the Musical in 2024. Other vocal roles include Cinderella in Into the Woods, Margaret Leavitt in Silent Sky, and ensemble roles in Secret Garden and The Sound of Music. Additionally, she has played many roles in film and straight plays, including Cecily in The Importance of Being Earnest, Kathryn Schaub in Radium Girls, Cookie in Rumors, and featured ensemble in Clark Conservatory’s Tate Award-winning production of Secret in the Wings. Coral is currently based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and is represented by Reel Talent Studio.

She loves to engage with her Tulsa community in several ways, including music directing Riverfield Country Day School’s production of Mean Girls, performing with the First Methodist Cathedral Choir, and working as a party princess with Once Upon a Crown for three years.

In 2020, Coral began working at Clark Youth Theatre, where she taught students voice, acting, and improv. During her time there, she received trauma-informed classroom strategies through the Opportunity Project to meet students where they’re at. She also had the opportunity to later direct the company’s 36th annual production of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever in 2023.

Coral began her musical journey on the cello. She pursued the craft for seven years, which gave her the musical foundation to pursue singing later in life. She values continued growth and received a Superior Rating in the Musical Theatre category at the International Thespian Festival in 2019. She was also the recipient of a grant that furthered her vocal education, graciously awarded by the 2022 Crescendo Music Awards. Coral holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Oral Roberts University.
